Travel Information
The main international gateway to Poland is Warsaw Chopin Airport (WAW), serving most international connections. Other major airports include Kraków (KRK), Gdańsk Lech Wałęsa (GDN), Wrocław (WRO), and Katowice-Pyrzowice (KTW).
Łódź Airport (LCJ) also operates international flights, mainly within Europe.
Poland has an extensive and modern railway network operated by PKP. High-speed Pendolino trains connect major cities such as Warsaw, Kraków, Gdańsk, and Wrocław. In Łódź, the two main stations are Łódź Fabryczna and Łódź Kaliska.
The country is also well connected by a growing network of motorways and expressways, including the A1 (north–south), A2 (east–west, intersecting near Łódź), and A4 (southern corridor), along with key express routes S8, S7, S5, and S3.
The Łódź University of Technology (TUL) campus is easily accessible by public transport, with convenient tram and bus connections from all parts of the city.
