§1. Personal data protection and consent to their processing
According to article 13 paragraph 1 and paragraph 2 of Regulation of the European Parliament and Council (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing of Directive 95/46/WE (general regulation on data protection), Official Journal of the European Union L 2016.119.1, we would like to inform you that:
- The administrator of your personal data provided in the application form is the Lodz University of Technology with its registered office in Łódź at 116 Żeromskiego Street;
- The basis for the processing of personal data is article 6 paragraph 1 letter a), c), e), of Regulation of the European Parliament and Council (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016.

Lodz University of Technology processes your personal data only for the purpose of
performing the tasks and obligations resulting from the organization of 24th International
Conference on Organic Synthesis, among others:
- identification of participants of the conference and implementation of the conference agenda;
- preparation of conference materials, e.g., identity badges, certificates;
- settling the Conference and handling billing and payment.

- Your personal data will be kept for the period necessary to complete the purpose of processing, including archiving;
- You have the right to request from the administrator access to your personal data, rectification, deletion or limitation of processing and the right to object to the processing, the right to data transfer;
- You have the right to lodge a complaint to the supervisory body with the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection in Poland;
- Providing your personal data is voluntary, but failure to do so will prevent participation in the 24th International Conference on Organic Synthesis;
- Decisions made against you and your personal data will not be taken in an automated manner, in particular we will not apply profiling to them.
§2. Mobile application privacy information
- The 24th International Conference on Organic Synthesis mobile application is used to provide participants with access to information related to the Conference, including the agenda, speakers, organizational announcements and push notifications.
- The mobile application does not require the user to create an account and does not collect personal data such as name, surname, e-mail address, phone number or billing data.
- For the purpose of sending push notifications, the application may collect and store a technical device push notification token. This token is used only to deliver notifications related to the Conference, such as organizational messages, agenda updates or important announcements.
- The processing of the device push notification token is based on the user’s consent to receive push notifications and is carried out only for the purpose of sending Conference-related notifications.
- The device push notification token is stored in the application’s technical infrastructure and/or in services used to deliver push notifications. The application uses Firebase and Expo services to process the device push notification token for the purpose of delivering push notifications.
- The device push notification token will be stored for up to 90 days after the end of the Conference and will then be deleted.
- The push notification token is not used for advertising purposes, is not sold to third parties and is not used to identify the participant outside the purpose of sending Conference-related notifications.
- The user may disable push notifications at any time in the settings of their mobile device. Disabling notifications does not affect access to the basic content of the application.
- The mobile application does not use profiling, does not track users for advertising purposes and does not share data with advertising networks.
- Personal data provided during Conference registration is processed separately in accordance with the provisions of §1 above. The mobile application is only an additional technical tool supporting participation in the Conference.
